My friend Jane saw videos about China on youtube. She was attracted by the beautiful scenery in the videos. She shared those videos with me, which included night views, natural scenery, and unique food. So she decided to travel to China. First, she contacted a local tour guide online to help her quickly adapt to the local environment.
As an English-speaking foreigner, she never worried when traveling alone to the United States because she knew she could easily ask the locals for help if she got into trouble. But the night before she flew to China, she couldn't sleep and started to worry: "Who should I ask for help if my phone runs out of battery?" "What if I get lost?" She didn't know how to ask for help in Chinese at all!
But it turned out that these were very stupid questions.
In fact, after she got off the plane in Beijing, she quickly found the exit according to the instructions and met the staff waiting to pick her up. They held a sign with her name and a welcome message, as well as a large bouquet of beautiful flowers to greet her. These enthusiastic actions touched her very much, and all her worries disappeared in an instant.
The staff first took her to the hotel, arranged the accommodation, and then took her to eat the local delicacy-Beijing roast duck.

On the second day of her arrival in China, her journey began. The tour guide took her to the Forbidden City, where the Chinese emperor lived. It was so big, with many rooms and some small gardens for the emperor and his family to play. After leaving the Forbidden City, they went to the Summer Palace, which is a larger royal garden. The emperor's family would often visit there. I saw the videos and photos taken by Jane, which were really big and beautiful.

On the third day, she decided to explore the beauty of Beijing on her own. But before returning to the hotel, her phone broke and she couldn't contact the tour guide. She could only walk back by memory. Later, she met a kind person who was traveling in Beijing. After knowing Jane's predicament, he helped her find the way back to the hotel. Fortunately, the kind person lived next to Jane's hotel, so the two of them walked together. They walked and talked on the road for nearly an hour, but the two did not feel tired. Instead, they became happier and agreed to explore the beauty of Beijing together the next day.
In the next few days, they traveled together and had a very pleasant time. The beautiful scenery and the help of kind people made my trip in China a wonderful one. It was all worth it!
