Honda has announced that it will once again participate in the UK's annual Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to 13, 2025, but this year it will not only be a new car show, but also a movie set, allowing the audience to become the protagonist and immerse themselves in the creativity and technological charm of the Honda brand.
In terms of the four-wheel lineup, Honda will bring three important new cars to Europe for the first time. The first is the Honda 0 SUV concept car from CES, which shows the design language of the brand's future electric SUV. The second is the highly anticipated Prelude e:HEV hybrid sports car, which will perform a dynamic Hillclimb runway performance for the first time this year after appearing as a concept car last year. There is also the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition, which will appear as the final evolution version, heralding the end of the current FL5 generation.
In response to the theme of the movie theater, Honda specially designed an interactive exhibition area where visitors can sit in the Civic Type R to shoot their own movie trailers, or make action movie posters in the AI studio, simulate riding a Gold Wing through the desert, hang on the wings of a HondaJet, and even perform an adventure at sea. These interactive facilities make the exhibition area full of fun and creativity.
The Hillclimb runway will also witness the dynamic performances of many Honda focus models, including the first public dynamic display of Prelude and Type R Ultimate Edition. The Super EV Concept will also be on the runway for the first time, showing its handling potential as a city car. At the same time, a parade of classic Civic Type R vehicles will be held, led by TT legend John McGuinness driving a Fireblade SP, accompanied by the Gold Wing, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this evergreen luxury cruiser.
The most eye-catching is the world debut of the Super EV Concept, a small pure electric urban car designed for the A-segment, focusing on "fun and practical". Its eye-catching purple appearance and actual testing in the UK will make it a major focus on Hillclimb.
In addition to four-wheel models, Honda also brought three heavyweight motorcycle concept works. The EV Fun Concept is the brand's first full-size pure electric motorcycle, and the Urban EV Concept presents a new concept of urban mobility. The V3 concept engine is a technological breakthrough, becoming the world's first motorcycle engine equipped with an electric compressor. It will be unveiled at the brand's "Dream Tech" technology tour.
In the field of racing, Honda will grandly display the Williams FW11, the brand's historical warhorse that won the F1 team championship in 1986. It will be driven by the champion driver Nigel Mansell at the time to commemorate the brand's contribution and honor in the 75th anniversary of entering F1. Dakar Rally winner Ricky Brabec will also participate in the CRF450 RALLY. The two-wheel and four-wheel track heroes will jointly present Honda's speed legend.
Honda said that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the best stage for the brand to connect the past and the future, technology and emotion. From racing technology to future electric mobility, from daily practical cars to pure driving pleasure, Honda will use film narrative techniques to tell a brand story of dreams, innovation and passion in this event. This is the most concrete practice of "The Power of Dreams".
